Meet Sophie

My passion in design started when I left school, I did 2 years in Whanganui studying Art, Craft and Design, from there I moved to Masterton and worked for Levene, then onto Theme in Wellington City then back to Levene. I have worked in the design side of retail for 34 years, from paint to furniture, curtaining and giftware. Design has always been something I've totally enjoyed from work to home.

My role at The Whole Nine Yards is front of house alongside Andrea with sales, merchandising and also all the background financials and paperwork. I assist in helping our customers with their choices in store with curtaining and wallpapers, ready for Julie to visit their homes and work her wonders.

As part of our service we offer an in-home consultation for furniture, I can visit your home and help you work out your spaces for that new sofa, chair or maybe some occasional pieces, along with fabric choices and accessories. Or maybe it's easier to just to pop in to us with your house plans - either way we are happy to assist.
